4.0 – 4.5 Advanced Mixed Team League Registration Information

Registration notification for the Advanced Team Mixed League can be obtained through the following avenues:
1) PickleballCommunity.com Web Page (PCVG)
2)  Facebook Group = The Villages Pickleball Community
3) Emails sent to previous season players and subs, and anyone requesting registration information through the website at:  AdvancedTeamMixedLeague@PickleballCommunity.com

Registration will be open for approximately 10 days; exact dates will be found in the email notification. 

Requirements to participate in the Advanced Team Mixed League:
1) 50 or older,
2) a resident of The Villages, and
3) listed in The Villages PB Rating system with a current rating of 4.0 or 4.5, or have a current DUPR rating of 4.0-4.99.                                                                                                                   

Data Required to be placed on the Draft List or Sub List

A)  Name as listed in The Villages PB rating system, also any nickname you
prefer.  Or your name as used in the DUPR system to identify your current DUPR rating.
B) PCVG Rating, or your current DUPR rating
C) Birth Year – YYYY
D) Email address (Type your email address completely in your response, it will
be copied and used to contact you. If you type it incorrectly or omit your email
address, you cannot be notified of the draft results)
E) The best phone number to reach you
F) An emergency contact person’s name
G) The emergency contact person’s best phone number
H)  Do you plan to attend the Play Day identified in the notification email, Yes or No
I) Would you like to nominate yourself to be a team captain for this season? Yes or No                                                       

Each player asking to be in the draft may nominate themselves to be one of the 6 team captains. 
All players on the Draft List will have an opportunity to vote for the league captains.   This process will repeat every season.

Pre-Season PLAY DAY

All players and subs are invited to participate in the Pre-Season Play Day; however, this is NOT a requirement to be included on the Draft List.  The Play Day is a unique opportunity for new players to intermix with players from the previous season and become acquainted with the league captains.  Players will receive court assignments and will participate in “mini games” on their respective courts.  This process will be under the direction of the League Commissioner, captains, and a few volunteers, and will be conducted from 10am-noon on the designated Play Date.
