The Tilley Memorial Tournament

Join us for a FUN tournament to honor the memory of Tilley Harris, and to raise money for the PCVG as well as local charities. We are asking for a $10 donation per player, and lunch will be provided after the tournament in the pavilion. Part of the money raised will be to help offset expenses at the PCVG, and part will go to the Tilley Harris Memorial Fund.
The Tilley Harris Memorial Fund is a charitable fund held at Schwab Charitable. Any money deposited to the fund is non-revocable, and money from the fund can ONLY be issued in the form of a grant to a qualified local charity. The fund will issue grants annually in June, starting in June 2024.
Date and time: Friday, April 5th at 10AM (check-in will start at 8:30. Instructions and court assignments at 9:30, play will start at 10:00)
Format: The tournament will be co-ed teams, and we will have 2 divisions – 8.0 combined rating and 7.0 combined rating.
Each division will have 12 teams divided into 2 sections and we will play a round robin format. The games will be timed at 12 minutes to ensure we can finish on time. Winners from each section will be decided by win/loss record first, and total points will be used to settle any ties. The top 2 teams from each section will play each other in the finals to determine first, second, and third place.
