4.0/4.5 Men's League

Tuesdays: 10 AM @ Captiva

The Men's 4.0/4.5 League is one of the PCVG's newest activities. This league is different from most. Instead of committing to weeks of play as in a regular league, you can sign up on a weekly basis. 

Eligibility

To be eligible for play, these requirements must be met:

  1.  Age 50 or older
  2.  A resident of The Villages
  3.  Listed in The Villages Pickleball Rating system with a current rating of 4.0 or 4.5, or have a current DUPR rating (on the day of registration) of 4.0-4.99. A minimum of 30 games recorded in the DUPR system is required.

Play Specifics

The league will play on Tuesdays from 10 to 11:50 am at the Captiva Recreation Center courts. 

Each session is six weeks in duration. Again, you are not required to attend all six play dates. Simply register to play when you can. During this timeframe, players' win/loss stats will be tracked and published to this webpage. Scores will not be entered into the DUPR system.

The play format will be round robin, where you rotate partners each game. Participants will be divided into three groups of nine players. One different player will sit out each game.

Registration

The first play date is October 8th. Registration for a particular play date is required via Signup Genius. The registration link is shown below. The first 27 people who register will be included in that day's play.

Registration for the upcoming week's play will be open at 8 pm on Tuesdays one week prior to the current week's play. To register, click the “Register Here” button shown below. 

Important:  If you sign up, you must show up!  You must delete your sign-up by 6 pm the day before your session to avoid a penalty.  If you don't delete your sign up by that time, you will forfeit the ability to register for any of the remaining six-week session play dates.
