About Us

The PCVG (Pickleball Community Volunteer Group) is a “lifestyle group” that was formed almost 15 years ago by Steve Richter. The PCVG operates as a non-profit organization with an elected volunteer Board of Directors, Activity Directors, and Activity Leaders.

Mission Statement

The PCVG strives to assist all the pickleball players in the Villages in their journey from the beginner to the 4.5 player through instruction and competition in a safe and inclusive environment.

The PCVG partners with The Villages Rec Department to provide many Instructional programs, leagues, tournaments, drill groups, clinics, referee training, DUPR camps, rating clinics, and more. All these programs are run by hundreds of dedicated volunteers volunteering thousands of hours.
