The focus of the league extends beyond competition, it includes an opportunity for the players to share their enthusiasm for the game, help one another improve, build team camaraderie, and emulate good sportsmanship.

Policies, Procedures & Guidelines

Attendance Policy

As a full-time team player, you must be able to participate in 75% of the play dates. The Commissioners may grant exemptions on a case-by-case basis. Players must notify their team captains of any dates which they are unavailable to play ASAP to allow the captain plenty of time to secure a sub.

Late Arrivals

Play starts at 10AM. If a player is more than 10 minutes late and a sub has not been found, their first game of the match will be forfeited. If the player fails to show by the start of the second game and no sub has been found, then their second match shall be forfeited as well. And so on for the 3rd and 4th game.

No Shows

In either case of a Late Arrival, that player, without prior notification to their team captain, will be tracked as a No Show. A single No Show may result in removal from the league as determined by the Commissioner. More than one No Show will result in automatic removal from the league.

Play Suspended, Time-Out, Behavior Policy

One timeout is allowed per game. Hydration stops are allowed as needed. Medical timeouts are always allowed (15 minutes). If a player is unable to continue after their medical timeout, then they will be retired from play that day.

Bullying, threats, or physical altercations will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the league.

If play is stopped due to weather, all completed games for the round are counted in which all teams have completed that round. Any unfinished games are not counted. Rainout dates will be scheduled if time is available for that league session.

Subbing Policies

  • All subs must meet the league eligibility guidelines.
  • All subs must be on the 3.5 Women’s sub roster before the match begins.
  • Subs may sub on a team 2 times during the season. If this becomes an issue where there are no other subs available and the only available sub has already subbed for that team 2 times, the team captain will notify the commissioner, and an exception may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
  • As a Sub player, you must strive to play when called upon. If a sub turns down an opportunity to sub for a team when contacted, they may not sub for a different team if asked for the same week.
  • If a team has a player who gets injured or pulls out to the league for the remainder of the season, the team captain will work with the commissioner to get approval for a replacement from the sub list.
