Online Auction:  Pickleball Quilted Lap Throw

Let's support the Samaritan's Inn! Marie Dufour, league member, has lovingly made and generously donated a pickleball quilted lap throw for us to bid on. The highest bidder wins the lap throw, and "all" proceeds go to the Samaritan's Inn. It's a win-win! Photos of the lap throw are shown below along with a description. Instructions for bidding are also shown below. Thank you.

Instructions

  • The starting bid is $80. This is the cost incurred by Marie Dufour to make the lap throw.
  • Bidding starts on Wednesday, September 25th. Bidding closes on Thursday, October 31st. Any bids received before or after the official start time will be null and void.
  • To view the current bidding status, click here.
  • Then, if you are interested in bidding, click on the "Click here to submit a bid." link that is located in the bidding status file. Or you can click here to access the bidding form. Both take you to the same bidding form.
  • Feel free to send the above two links to your family and friends.
  • Important: The server updates every 5 minutes, so there could possibly be a 5-minute delay before you can view your submitted bid. Refresh your screen as needed. Be assured that even with this delay, all bids will be populated to the spreadsheet in the order submitted and timestamped accordingly.
  • Winners will be notified after Friday, November 1st. Payment and item pickup will be discussed and arranged.

Lap Throw Description

Dimensions:  32 x 59 inches

The top is made of soft "minky" material with pickleball paddles. Minky fabric is hypoallergenic, breathable, and easy to care for. The back is red Kona cotton. The batting is cotton/polyester. The throw is quilted is red Kona cotton with cotton/polyester batting. Quilted with a flurry of pickleballs. Perfect for keeping your legs warm between games or just to cuddle with! Would make a welcoming Christmas or birthday gift.
